Adobe Creative Suite CS3 Any Day Now!

After years of waiting Adobe will finally unveil one of the most desired software suites ever with the release of CS3 this month. I’ve called Adobe multiple times in the past few weeks. First I called to confirm the release this month, secondly to get my pre-order in for Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium. Yes, I paid with real money. (I hate pirates)

Personally I am looking forward to this release. It’s the first release that will include Macromedia flagship products since Adobe acquired Macromedia several years ago. The creative minds at Adobe have worked together with those originally with Macromedia to make the different programs work seamlessly together. Photoshop now fully integrates with Flash. You can now import PSD files directly into Flash movies and have access to your predefined layered graphics. Photoshop also has many new built in 3-D imaging features. I am definitely looking forward to checking these out.

Anyway, as soon as I get my CS3 package in the mail I’ll be sure to post some screenshots and post a nice review of the new and improved software. Adobe has told me that they expect the software to ship by the end of April, so I figure I still have a good week or two before I should start expecting anything.
